One upon a time...
there was a girl who could not decide what to do with her life. She changed her mind quite a lot and every time she had a new thought, she read a lot of books so she could be the best at it. Would she be a writer? Or a vet? Or maybe something else? A new idea seemed to be around every corner.
As one might expect, that didn't go very well for a while. But then she discovered programming, and teaching herself to code was a fascinating and fun endeavor which she assumed would continue into a career.
However!
There was one thing she had neglected to think about: the fact that she had always been drawing! Drawing stories, no less. The career of an artist never even entered her head; drawing was just something she did, and comics were just something she read.
But the more comics she drew and the more comics she read, the more in love with the medium she became. Soon she found herself considering art school. Then at art school. And before she knew it, the thought of being anything else seemed absurd and unappealing.
And now she's graduated and ready to fill the world with stories, so I hope you are ready to read them!
-
Passionate.
- It's a fine line between "passionate" and "obsessive". What I mean is if you want to chat with me about comics (especially webcomics), it's going to be a long night.
-
Problem Solver.
- I don't know about you, but when someone tosses me a puzzle, I'll have a hard time letting go of it before I solve it - especially if it's something I know I can do. I always like a good challenge.
-
Storyteller.
- Good stories are high on my priority list. I'm open to all genres - drama, action, comedy. If it's a story worth telling, I'll make sure it's told right.
I am available for freelance!
