Would you trust a witch?
The Witch is out to kill a man called Jøsten, and through an odd turn of events ends up making a deal with the young woman Amira. He'll tell her what happened to her missing husband if she helps him kill Jøsten. Believing Amira to have been kidnapped and mistaken for Jøsten's family, her neighbor Rekka decides to go rescue her and forces Jøsten to come with since he is, in part, responsible.
So what's this?
A new webcomic that I, Laura Kajpust, am creating! It is a short (well, short than Fruitful Confusion at least) five-chapter story illustrated in full-color. I've been sharing lots of this comic's development on tumblr and twitter for over a year now, and it's finally launching at last!
Why was there a wait?
Because it was still in process! The writing was all completed summer of 2011, and the first chapter was done worked on for my senior thesis at school. This allowed me to create a buffer which will make it easier for me to get back to working on my other webcomic, Fruitful Confusion, and other projects simultaneously.
Since I used the first chapter for my senior thesis, my deadlines were somewhat defined by my school schedule. Having most of the first chapter done before launch means less missed updates! Well, actually there really shouldn't be any. So...awesome!
